RSB are pleased to introduce you to travel insurance through Columbus Direct. With Columbus Direct you get a choice of three levels of cover Bronze, Silver and Gold, and extra options so that you can select the cover you need to travel in confidence – without blowing your holiday budget.
The Silver package (middle range) includes up to £10 million cover for emergency medical expenses, up to £3,000 for cancellation and up to £2,000 for protection for your belongings.
Columbus Direct policies include cover for over 150 sports and activities and there is also optional cover available for winter sports, gadgets and cover for extended trip disruption which helps protect you from some of the impacts of natural catastrophes, air space disruptions or terrorist acts. Columbus also provides cover for many pre-existing medical conditions subject to simple online screening.
Pre-existing medical conditions will be not covered by your travel insurance unless they are declared, agreed by Columbus and detailed on your policy schedule and an extra premium paid (if required). If you do not have alternative cover in place, then you might be losing out by delaying purchasing your travel cover.
